How Does Lithvestor Work? AI Trading, Step by Step
The Short Answer
Lithvestor works in four stages. The AI collects live market data, analyses it for patterns and price gaps, builds a signal with entry, exit and stop-loss levels, then acts on your settings - placing the trade for you on Autopilot, or sending it to you on Co-Pilot. Trades go through verified partner brokers.

Stage 1: The AI Collects Live Market Data
Everything starts with data. The engine pulls live prices from major crypto exchanges and global currency markets, non-stop.
It looks at:
Prices
what an asset is trading at right now, across several exchanges.
Volume
how much is being bought and sold.
Speed of change
how fast prices are rising or falling.
History
how prices behaved in similar moments before.
A person can follow a few charts. The AI follows thousands of price points at once.
Stage 2: It Looks for Opportunities
The AI uses machine learning - software that learns from past price data - to spot two main kinds of opportunity.
- 1
Repeat patterns
Markets often move in similar ways under similar conditions. The AI checks whether today's prices look like past moments that led to a rise or a fall.
- 2
Price gaps between exchanges
Sometimes the same coin costs slightly less on one exchange than another for a short time. The AI can spot these gaps quickly. (This is called arbitrage.)
Ideas that don't meet the system's rules are thrown out. Only the stronger ones become signals.
Stage 3: It Builds a Trade Signal
A signal is a ready-made trade idea. Each one tells you:
| Part of the Signal | What It Means | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Market | What to trade | BTC/AUD |
| Direction | Buy (price may rise) or sell (price may fall) | Buy |
| Entry | The price to open the trade | Current market price |
| Take-profit | The price to close with a gain | 4% above entry |
| Stop-loss | The price to close and limit a loss | 2% below entry |
Stage 4: It Acts on Your Settings
What happens to a signal depends on the mode you choose.
On Autopilot
- 1The signal is checked against your risk settings.
- 2If it fits, the trade is placed automatically through your partner broker.
- 3The trade closes when it hits your take-profit or stop-loss.
- 4You see the result in your dashboard.
On Co-Pilot
- 1You get the signal as an alert.
- 2You review it and decide: place it, change it or skip it.
- 3If you place it, the broker carries out the trade.
The Settings You Control
You're in control. Set these before your first trade, and change them any time.
| Setting | What It Does | Beginner Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Trade size | How much goes into each trade | Keep each trade small - a small slice of your balance |
| Stop-loss | Closes a trade if it drops by a set amount | Always switch it on |
| Take-profit | Closes a trade once it gains a set amount | Set it so gains are bigger than your stop-loss |
| Markets | Which markets the AI can trade | Start with one market you understand |
| Mode | Autopilot or Co-Pilot | Start on Autopilot, learn, then decide |
| Pause | Stops new trades straight away | Use it any time you feel unsure |
A Simple Example Trade
This is a made-up example to show how the steps work. It is not a real result and ignores broker costs and leverage.
The setup
- Account balance
- AU$250
- Trade size setting
- AU$25 per trade
- Stop-loss · Take-profit
- 2% · 4%
The AI spots a pattern on BTC/AUD and sends a buy signal. On Autopilot, it opens a AU$25 trade.
| If the Price… | The Trade… | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Rises 4% | Closes at take-profit | About +AU$1.00 |
| Falls 2% | Closes at stop-loss | About -AU$0.50 |
The lesson: the stop-loss keeps each loss small, and the take-profit locks in gains. Over many trades, results depend on how often signals work - and some will lose.
